It has been a LONG time. Thanks to the chaos of life, it’s been nearly a full SEASON since the last show was released. But, I’m back and ready to roll with some more great music. As things continue to gear-up, I decided to roll out another "Just The Music, Please" episode of the podcast. Some of this music you’ve heard before, others may be completely new. Either way, it feels great to be back, spending some time with you and listening to some great music.
Thanks to a listener to the show, I found out about Five AM a few weeks ago. They’re out of northern California, and I really like their sound. Their third album, "Raise The Sun", dropped in February and has already spent some time in my playlist. I got a chance to chat with Trent, the lead singer of the band about their music and how fans have helped to finance their albums.

I’m very excited to bring you an interview with a spectacular upcoming artist, Sarah Vonderhaar . Her catchy and upbeat songs complement her solid vocals, and I really enjoyed sitting down with her to talk about her music. Her debut album, "Are You Listening Now" drops on April 22. If you are seeing this prior to the 22nd, you can pre-order the album over at SarahVonderhaar.com . I have been enjoying a copy of it quite a bit over the last couple of weeks, and if you like her mix of pop/rock in this show, you’ll love the full album.SarahVonderhaar.comSarah’s MySpace PageSarah’s Facebook Page

Thanks to Chris Penn at the Financial Aid Podcast, I learned of New York artist Natalie Gelman. Natalie and I sat down at the beginning of March to talk about her music, some of the experiences and doors that have opened from her performances in the New York subway system and elsewhere, and the stories behind her songs. She describes her music as acoustic-folk-rock, but her voice spans many different genre (even opera). Thanks again Natalie! If you like her music, consider supporting her by purchasing her latest album.
Looking out the Window, Episode 37 – Tangled in Strings
Sometimes we get tangled up in the chaos of life, relationships, and it takes a change of heart to move, change, and evolve. Thanks again to Grace Buford and David McMillin for submissions for this episode.
